Banana Smoothies are very quick and easy to make and are perfect as an on-the-run breakfast or a refreshing afternoon snack. This banana smoothie is lovely and thick, and the riper the banana, the better the banana flavour. It’s also lovely with either a pinch of cinnamon or dash of vanilla.
- 2-3 ripe bananas
- 250ml low fat milk or almond milk
- 250ml natural yoghurt
- Honey to taste
- 1. Combine all ingredients in the jug of a food blender and 1 tbsp honey then blend until smooth. 15-20 seconds. Taste and add more honey if needed. Serve chilled. Will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.
