- 1 tin of cherry tomatoes
- 450g minced beef
- 4 Tablespoons tomato puree
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Small bunch of basil, torn roughly
- Salt & pepper to taste
- To serve: Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
- 1. Heat a frying pan on a medium heat and add 1 tablespoon oil. Then add the vegetables including the garlic for about 10 minutes until soft.
- 2. Spoon the veggies into a bowl.
- 3. Carefully wipe the pan with kitchen paper and then heat the pan on a medium heat with the remaining oil.
- 4. Add the beef and cook until it's all browned. Use a fork or a wooden spoon to break up the mince so that there are no big clumps.

- 6. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the pack.
- 7. Drain the pasta and divide up onto plates. Divide up the bolognese mixture and serve with some fresh basil and some parmesan cheese.
